240. Dua Mathurah #10

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ نُرَدَّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oodhu bika minal-bukhli, wa 'a'oodhu bika minal-jubni, wa 'a'oodhu bika min 'an nuradda 'ilaa 'ardhalil-'umuri, wa 'a'oodhu bika min fitnatid-dunyaa wa 'adhaabil-qabr

Translation

O Allah! I seek refuge with You from cowardice, and miserliness, and seek refuge with You from reaching a degraded helpless old age, and seek refuge with You from the afflictions of the world and from the punishment in the grave.

Narrated by Saad Ibn Abi Waqqas (RA): Saad (RA) used to teach these words to his sons in the same way that a teacher teaches handwriting to children. And he used to say that towards the end of the prayer, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would seek refuge (in Allah) in these matters: (The dua is mentioned above)
