Dua Masura English Translation

O Allah, join our hearts, mend our social relationship, guide us to the path of peace, bring us from darkness to light, save us from obscenities, outward or inward, and bless our ears, our eyes, our hearts, our wives, our children, and relent toward us; Thou art the Relenting, the Merciful. And make us grateful for Thy blessing and make us praise it while accepting it and give it to us in full.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to teach us this dua to recite after Tashahhud.

Translation

O Allah, unite our hearts, reconcile our differences, guide us to the paths of peace, deliver us from darkness into light, keep us away from all indecencies—those which are visible and those which are hidden. Bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. Accept our repentance; indeed, You are the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. Make us ever grateful for Your bounty, praising and accepting it, and perfect Your favor upon us. Abu Hurairah narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: “O Allah, unite our hearts, mend our mutual affairs, guide us to the ways of peace, deliver us from darkness into light, keep us away from all shameful and immoral deeds, those which are apparent and those which are hidden. Bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our children. Accept our repentance, for You are the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. Make us grateful for Your bounty, praising and accepting it, and complete Your favor upon us.” (Sunan Abu Dawud 969)
