837. Prophet’s Sunnah after Receiving Good News
When the Prophet (ﷺ) received any good news, he would prostrate to express his gratitude to Allah.

Alḥamdu lillāhi 'lladhi bi ni`matihi tatimmuṣ-ṣāliḥāt. Alḥamdu lillāhi `alā kulli ḥāl. When something good happened, the Prophet (ﷺ) would say: Praise is to Allah Who by His blessings all good things are completed. If you ever get good news, saying this dua is a sunnah way to thank Allah for His blessings.
