836. Islamic Dhikr When surprised (SubhaanAllah)
Upon hearing astonishing thing, companions said:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ

Hadith about the Dua
Arabic Text
عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّهُ لَيُعْجِبُنِي أَنْ يَعْجَبَ الْمَرْءُ بِالشَّىْءِ فَيَقُولَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ " .
Translation
Anas reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "It pleases me that when a person is amazed at something, he should say: 'SubhaanAllah (Glory is to Allah).'”
