829. Dua for holding oneself in obedience to Allah
اَللَّهُمَّ مُصَرِّفَ الْقُلُوْبِ صَرِّفْ قُلُوبَنَا عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ
Allaahumma musarrifal-qulubi, sarrif qulubanaa 'alaa taa'atik
O Allah! Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts to Your obedience. [1]
In another narration, Rasulullah (ﷺ) used to say this more and more:
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوْبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِيْ عَلَى دِيْنِكَ
Ya Muqallibal-qulubi, thabbit qalbi `alaa dinik
O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion. [2]
