Frequently Asked Questions
According to the Hanbali school, making dua between the two sujood is actually seen as wajib (obligatory). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) always did this, and in every part of salah there’s some kind of dhikr. So, what you recite between the two prostrations—like Allahummaghfirli—isn’t something to skip on purpose.
