216. Dua while prostrating [sujood] #4

Ayesha (RA) said, I did not find Rasulullah (ﷺ) in bed one night. (In the dark) I searched for him. Then my hand touched the sole of his foot. He was then in prostration and his legs were erect. He was saying:

Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oodhu biridhaaka min sakhatik, wa bimu'aafaatika min 'uqoobatik wa 'a'oodhu bika minka, laa 'uhsee thanaa'an 'alayka, 'Anta kamaa 'athnayta 'alaa nafsik

Translation

O Allah, I seek protection in Your pleasure from Your anger, and I seek protection in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek protection in You from You. I cannot count Your praises. You are as You have praised Yourself.
