215. Dua for Sujood (Allahumma Maghfir Lee)
Abu Hurairah (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say in prostration:
Dua for Sujood in Arabic
اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِيْ كُلَّهُ دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ، وَعَلَانِيَّتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ
Dua for Sujood English Transliteration
Allahum-maghfir lee dhanbee kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, wa 'awwalahu wa 'aakhirahu wa 'alaa-niyyatahu wa sirrahu
Dua for Sujood English Translation
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, great and small, the first and the last, those that are apparent and those that are hidden.

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي سُجُودِهِ " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ وَعَلاَنِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ " .
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say while prostrating himself: O Lord, forgive me all my sins, small and great, first and last, open and secret. [Muslim: 483]
