740. Seeking refuge from unpleasant day and night and bad companions
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say:
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ يَوْمِ السُّوْءِ وَمِنْ لَيْلَةِ السُّوْءِ وَمِنْ سَاعَةِ السُّوْءِ وَمِنْ صَاحِبِ السُّوْءِ وَمِنْ جَارِ السُوْءِ فِي دَارِ الْمُقَامَةِ
Allaahumma inni A‛oodhu bika min yawmis-su’i, wa min laylatis-su’i, wa min sa’atis-su’i, wa min saahibis-su'i, wa min jaaris-su’i fi daaril-muqaamah
O Allah, indeed I seek refuge in You from a bad day and a bad night and a bad time and a bad partner and from having a bad neighbor near my place of residence.
