229. Prayers upon the Prophet (ﷺ) after tashahhud #1
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰى اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلٰى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰى اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰى اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلٰى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰى اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa sallayta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed. Allaahumma baarik 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa baarakta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed
O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad (ﷺ) and on the family of Muhammad as You have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad (ﷺ) and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
Narrated by Ka`b bin Ujrah (RA): We asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! How should one (ask Allah to) send blessings on you, the members of the family, for Allah has taught us how to salute you (in the prayer)?' He (ﷺ) said, 'Say: (The dua is mentioned above)
230. Prayers upon the Prophet (ﷺ) after tashahhud #2
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إبْرَاهِيْمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَزْوَاجِهٖ وَذُرِّيَّتِهٖ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلٰى اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَزْوَاجِهٖ وَذُرِّيَّتِهٖ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلٰى اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'azwaajihi wa dhurriyyatihi, kamaa sallayta 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema. Wa baarik 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'azwaajihi wa dhurriyyatihi, kamaa baarakta 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema. 'Innaka Hameedun Majeed
O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad (ﷺ) and upon his wives and progeny as You have bestowed Your favor upon the family of Ibrahim. And bless Muhammad (ﷺ) and his wives and progeny as You have blessed the family of Ibrahim, You are full of praise, Most Glorious.
Narrated Abu Hamid (RA) Saidi: They asked, “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! How can we recite Durood for you?” Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, you say - (The dua is mentioned above)
