Section: Prostration due to Quran recitation

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (RA) The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that when, the son of Adam recites the Ayat of Sajdah (prostration) and then falls down in prostration, the Satan goes into seclusion and weeps and says: Alas, and in the narration of Abu Kuraib the words are: Woe unto me, the son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated and Paradise was entitled to him and I was commanded to prostrate, but I refused and am doomed to Hell.

Prophet (ﷺ) recited the verse of prostration and went to sujood and make this dua:

اَللَّهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لِي بِهَا عِنْدَكَ أَجْرًا، وَضَعْ عَنِّي بِهَا وِزْرًا، وَاجْعَلْهَا لِي عِنْدَكَ ذُخْرًا، وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَهَا مِنْ عَبْدِكَ دَاوُدَ

اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لِىْ بِهَا عِنْدَكَ اَجْرًا، وَضَعْ عَنِّىْ بِهَا وِزْرًا، وَاجْعَلْهَا لِىْ عِنْدَكَ ذُخْرًا، وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّىْ كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَهَا مِنْ عَبْدِكَ دَاوٗدَ

Allahum-maktub lee bihaa ‘indaka ‘ajran, wada', ‘annee bihaa wizran, waj’alhaa lee ‘indaka dhukhran, wa taqabbalhaa minnee kamaa taqabbaltahaa min ’abdika Daawood

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited the verses of prostration at night, he would go in prostration and say:

سَجَدَ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ

سَجَدَ وَجْهِىَ لِلَّذِىْ خَلَقَهٗ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهٗ وَبَصَرَهٗ بِحَوْلِهٖ وَقُوَّتِهٖ

Sajada wajhiya lilladhee khalaqahu, wa shaqqa sam'a-hu wa basarahu bi hawlihi wa quwwatih
