اَللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أُحَاوِلُ وَبِكَ أُقَاتِلُ وَبِكَ أَصَاوِلُ

Hadith about the Dua

Arabic Text

عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ قَالَ: "اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أُحَاوِلُ، وَبِكَ أُقَاتِلُ، وَبِكَ أُصَاوِلُ".

Translation

Abu Umamah narrated: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his head after bowing (in prayer), he would say: “O Allah, by Your help I strive, by Your help I fight, and by Your help I contend.”
