Frequently Asked Questions

During ruku in salah, you focus on glorifying Allah and saying the ruku ki dua that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us. There are authentic phrases for ruku, and their English transliteration and meaning include: O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You. But personal supplications or dua in ruku aren’t the usual practice, since ruku is mainly for tasbeeh and praise of Allah.
