Section: Duas after salaam

256. Thirty Three times "Subhanallah", Thirty Three times "Alhamdulillah" and Thirty Four times "Allahu Akbar"

33 times "Subhanallah"

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ

SubhaanAllah

Translation

How perfect Allah is.


33 times "Alhamdulillah"

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ

Alhamdu lillaah

Translation

All praise is for Allah.


34 times "Allahu Akbar"

اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

اَللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ

Allahu 'Akbar

Translation

Allah is the greatest.

257. Sins forgiven even if like the foam of the sea

Say thirty-three times each:

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ، وَاللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ

SubhaanAllahi, walhamdu lillaahi wAllahu 'Akbar

Translation

How perfect Allah is, all praise is for Allah, and Allah is the greatest.


لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

Laa 'ilaaha 'illAllahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku walahul-hamdu wahuwa 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer

Translation

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without any partner, to Him belong all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.

258. Dua after salat #1

رَبِّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ (تَجْمَعُ) عِبَادَكَ

رَبِّ قِنِىْ عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ (تَجْمَعُ) عِبَادَكَ

Rabbi qini 'adhaabaka yawma tab'athu - [tajma'u] - 'ibaadak

Translation

O Allah, save me from Your punishment on the Day when You resurrect - or gather - Your slaves.

Bara' (RA) reported: When we prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) we cherished to be on his right side so that his face would turn towards us (at the end of the prayer), and he (the narrator) said: I heard him say: (the dua is mentioned above)
