491. Prostration due to Quran recitation
اَللَّهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لِي بِهَا عِنْدَكَ أَجْرًا وَضَعْ عَنِّيْ بِهَا وِزْرًا وَاجعَلْهَا لِي عِنْدَكَ ذُخْرًا وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَهَا مِنْ عَبْدِكَ دَاوُدَ
Allahum-maktub lee bihaa 'indaka 'ajran, wad'a 'annee bihaa wizran, waj'alhaa lee 'indaka thukhran, wa taqabbalhaa minnee kamaa taqabbaltahaa min 'abdika Daawood
O Allah, write it as a reward for me, and release me from a burden for it, and make it a treasure for me in Paradise. Accept it from me as You accepted it from your servant Dawud.
Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said, "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), recited the verses of prostration and recited this du'a." (The dua is mentioned above)
