352. What should be said to chase shaytaan
1. Seek refuge in Allah from Satan; 2. Give Azan [1] 3. Remembrance and recitation of the Qur'an; And [2] 4. Spitting three times on the left during salah and recitation of the Qur'an. Moreover, the other things that drive away the devils are the adhkaar of morning and evening, the adhkaar of sleep, the adhkaar of awakening, the adhkaar of entering and leaving the house, the adhkaar of entering and leaving the mosque, etc., and those adhkaar which are according to the Shari'ah. For example, Ayatul Kursi, the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah during sleep. Moreover, the person who recites "La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, wahua 'ala qulli shayin qadir" a hundred times, will give him complete protection for that day. Also giving the Azan, Satan fled. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Do not turn your houses into graves. Surely Satan flees from the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.” [Muslim: 780]
