886. Dua to be recited during facing the Kaaba

Climb the Safa mountain and stand facing the Baitullah and proclaim the oneness, greatness and praise of Allah -

laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa sharika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuh-i wa yumitu wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shayin qadir, laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa sharika lahu, anjaza wa’dahu wa nasara ‘abdahu, wa hazamal ahzaaba wa-’adah.

Translation

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. His is the kingdom. Praise be to Him. He gives lives and he gives death. He has power over all things. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. He has fulfilled His promise, has helped His servant, and He alone has defeated His enemies.
