Translation

There is no deity except Allah, the Most Forbearing, the Most Generous. There is no deity except Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the magnificent Throne. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Narrated by Ibn Abbas: That the Prophet (ﷺ) would say during distress: “There is no deity except Allah, the Most Forbearing, the Most Generous. There is no deity except Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the magnificent Throne. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The Prophet ﷺ used to say “Astaghfirullah” a hundred times in one day asking Allah to forgive him. Just repeating Astaghfirullah 100 times can bring a lot of mercy. Many people use this forgiveness dua after salatul hajat namaz too, hoping Allah wipes their past mistakes.
