185. Dua for the person who trades in the mosque
Narrated Abu Hurairah: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When you see someone selling or buying in the Masjid then say:
Dua for Trading in the Mosque in Arabic
لَا أَرْبَحَ اللَّهُ تِجَارَتَكَ
Dua for Trading in the Mosque English Transliteration
laa arba'ha Allahu tijaarataka
Dua for Trading in the Mosque English Translation
May Allah not profit your business.
This is because the mosques were not built for this purpose.

FAQ about Dua for Trading in the Mosque
The Prophet ﷺ said to say: “May Allah not make your trade profitable.” This is said to discourage buying or selling inside a masjid.
