Hadith about the Dua
Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Muqātil ibn Sulaym came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “A great debt has overwhelmed me, so teach me something that if I say it, Allah will pay off my debt for me.” He said, “Say: O Allah, suffice me with what You have allowed instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent of all others besides You by Your bounty.”
