Section: From Sunnah
06. Abu Dawud : 466
أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَبِسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
A'oothu billaahil-'Adheem, wa bi-Wajhihil-Kareem, wa Sultaanihil-qadeem,minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem.
By Allah's Glorious Face and His Eternal Power, I seek refuge in Allah, the Magnificent, from Satan, the outcast.”
12. Abu Dawud : 775
أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ السَّمِيْعِ الْعَلِيْمِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ
‘Audhu billahis sami’il ‘aliimi minash shaitaanir rajiimi min hamzihi wa nafkhihi wa nafthih.
I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, All-Knowing, from Satan, the outcast, and from his whispers, his blowing and his Nafth.”
18. Al-Bukhari : 3371
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لاَمَّةٍ
A'udhu bi kalimaatillaahit taammah min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli 'aynin laammah.
I seek refuge in Allah's perfect words from the evil of all what He has created, from all devils and insects and from all envious eyes.”
24. Muslim : 2708
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ كُلِّهِنَّ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
A'udhu bi kalimaatillaahit taammati min sharri ma khalaq.
I seek refuge in all of Allah's perfect Words from the evil of what He has created.”
30. Al Jami : 74
أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِ اللهِ الْكَرِيْمِ وَبِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لاَ يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلاَ فَاجِرٌ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ، وَبَرَأَ وَذَرَأَ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فيهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلاَّ طَارِقاً يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَنُ
‘A`udhu biwajhillahil karim wa Bikalimatillahit-Tammatil-Lati Laa Yujawizuhunna Barrun Wa Laa Fajirun Min Sharri Maa Khalaq, Wa Bara’a Wa Dhara’, Wa Min Sharri Maa Yanzilu Minas-Sama‘i Wa Min Sharri Maa Ya`ruju Fīha, Wa Min Sharri Maa Dhara’a Fīl-’Arđi Wa Min Sharri Maa Yakhruju Minha, Wa Min Sharri Fitanil-Layli Wan-Nahar, Wa Min Sharri Kulli tariqin ‘Illa tariqan Yatruqu Bikhayrin Ya Rahman.
I seek refuge in Allah's Glorious Face and His perfect words, which neither the good nor the evil can ever escape, from the evil of what comes down from heaven, or goes up to it, from the evil of what comes out of the earth, or gets into it, from the trials of night and day, and from the unexpected occurrences of night and day, except ones carrying good. O You, the Merciful One.
36. Abu Dawud : 5052
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيْمِ وَكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بٍنَاصِيَتِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ تَكْشِفُ الْمَغْرَمَ وَالْمَأْثَمَ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ، وَلَا يُخْلَفُ وَعْدُكْ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ، سُبْحَانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ
Allahumma inni ‘audhu biwajhikal karimi wa kalimaatikat taammah, min sharri maa anta aakhidhun binaasiyatihi allahumma anta takshiful maghrama wal ma’thama, allahumma laa yudhamu junduka wa laa yukhlafu wa’duk wa laa yanfa’u dhaal jaddi minkal jaddu subhaanaka wa bihamdik.
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your Glorious Face and Your perfect words from the evil of all things, which are under Your control. O Allah, it is You that relieves debts and removes sins. O Allah, those fighting for You are never defeated, Your promise is never broken, no fortune can be beneficial except Yours. Glory and praise be to You.”
42. Abu Dawud : 5088
Say three times:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillahi alladhi la yadurru ma' ismihi shai'un fil-ardi wa-laa fil-samaa'i wa huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or the earth can cause any harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”
48. Abu Dawud : 3893
بِسْمِ اللهِ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُوْنِ
Bismillahi. A`udhu Bikalimatillahit-Tammati Min Ghadabihi Wa `Iqabih, Wa Sharri `Ibadihi Wa Min Hamazatish-Shayatini Wa ‘An Yahdurun.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah's perfect words from His wrath and punishment, from the evil of His slaves, and from Satan's whispers and presence.
54. Muslim : 222
Say 3 times Bismillah, Then, say 7 times,
أَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ
Bismillah (3 times), A’oodhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhiru.
In the name of Allah. I seek refuge in Allah and His might from the evil of what I find and fear.”
59. Muslim : 2186
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ أَرْقِيْكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيْكَ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ، اللّٰهُ يَشْفِيْكَ، بِاسْمِ اللّٰهِ أَرْقِيْكَ.
Bismillah-hi Arqik, Min Kulli Shayin Yu'zik, Min Sharri Kulli Nafsin aw ‘Ainin Ha-Sidin, Alla-hu Yashfik, Bismillahi Arqik.
In the name of Allah I am doing this Ruqyah unto you to remove what is harming you and remove the evil of spirits and envious eyes. May Allah grant you healing! In the name of Allah I am doing this Ruqyah unto you.
64. Muslim : 2185
بِسْمِ اللهِ يُبْرِيكَ وَمِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ يَشْفِيكَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ وَشَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي عَيْنٍ
Bismillahi Yubrika wa min kulli da-in yashfika wa min sharri ha-sidin idha hasad, wa sharri kulli dhi ‘ain.
In the name of Allah, may He grant you healing; may He cure you of all diseases, of the evil of envious ones when they envy, and of the evil eye.”
69. Bukhari : 5745
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ، تُرْبَةُ أَرْضِنَا بِرِيْقَةِ بَعْضِنَا، يُشْفَىٰ سَقِيْمُنَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّنَا
Bismillah. Turbatu Ardina, Biriqqati Ba'adina, Yushfa Saqimuna, Bi-idhni Rabbina-.
In the name of Allah, with the earth of our land and the saliva of some of us, the ill amongst us will be healed by Allah's permission.”
74. Musnad Ahmad : 3/158
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، الْمَنَّانُ بَدِيْعُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka bi'anna lakal-hamd laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta, Al-Mannaanu, Badee'as-samaawaati wal'ardhi yaa dhal-Jalaali wal-'Ikraam, yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoom.
O Allah, it is You Whom I beg for help, for to You all praise is due, and there is no god but You. You are the Compassionate, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of Majesty and Splendor. You are the Living, the Eternal.”
78. Musnad Ahmad : 5/350
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ
Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka yaaAllaahu bi'annakal-Waahidul-'Ahadus-Samadul-ladhee, lam yalid wa lam yoolad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan 'Ahad.
O Allah, it is You Whom I beg for help, for I bear witness that there is no god but You, the One, the eternally Besought of all, Who begets not, nor is He begotten; and to Whom none is comparable.”
82. Al-Bukhari : 5675
اَللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا.
Allahumma Azhibil Ba'as, Rabbannas, Washfi Anta Ash-Shafi, La-Shifa-A Illa-Shifa-Uka. Shifa-an la-yuga-diru saqama.
O Allah, Lord of mankind! It is You Who removes suffering. You are the Healer, and none can heal but You. I beg You to bring about healing that leaves behind no ailment.
86. Abu Dawud : 5090
Say 3 times:
اَللّٰهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَدَنِيْ، اَللّٰهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ سَمْعِيْ، اَللّٰهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَصَرِيْ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Alla-humma ‘a-fini fi badani, Alla-humma‘ a-fini fi sam’ee Alla-humma ‘a-fini fi basari. Laa ila-ha illa anta.
O Allah, make my body healthy, my hearing healthy and my eyesight healthy. There is no God but You.
90. Musnad Ahmad :.4/353
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَاجْبُرْنِي، وَعَافِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي، وَارْفَعْنِي
Allaahummaghfir lee, warhamnee, wahdinee, wajburnee, wa 'aafinee,warzuqnee, warfa'nee.
O Allah, forgive my sins; have mercy on me; make me healthy; guide me; and provide for me.”
94. Tirmidhi : 3547
اَللَّهُمَّ بَرِّدْ قَلْبِي بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ
Allahumma Barrid Qalbi Bith thalji Wal Baradi Wal Ma-il Ba-Ridi Allahumma Naqqi Qalbi Minal Khataiya Kama Naqqaitath thaobal Abiyada Minad Danas.
O Allah! Cool my heart with ice, hail and cool water, and purify it of all sins, as a white garment is cleansed of all dirt.”
97. Abu Dawud : 3107
اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْفِ عَبْدَكَ يَنْكَأُ لَكَ عَدُوًّا وَيَمْشِي لَكَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ
Allahummashfi ‘Abdaka Yankau laka ‘Aduwwan Aw Yamshi Laka iIas Salah.
O Allah, I beg You to grant healing to Your slave, so that he can knock out an enemy of Yours, and can walk (to the mosque) for salaah.”
100. Musnad Ahmad : 3/447
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ وَأَذْهِبْ عَنْهُ حَرَّ الْعَيْنِ وَبَرْدَهَا وَوَصَبَهَا
Allahumma baarik ‘alaihi wa adh-hib ‘anhu harril ‘aini wa bardahaa wa wasabaha.
O Allah, I beg You to grant him Your blessings, to rid him of the evil eye's heat, cold and aches.”
103. Abu Dawud : 5074
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِيْ دِينِيْ وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِيْ، وَمَالِيْ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِيْ، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِيْ، اَللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِيْ وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِيْ وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِيْ وَأَعُوْذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِيْ
Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fid-dunyaa wal'aakhirati, Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fee deenee wa dunyaaya wa 'ahlee, wa maalee , Allaahum-mastur 'awraatee, wa 'aamin raw'aatee, Allaahum-mahfadhnee min bayni yadayya, wa min khalfee, wa 'an yameenee, wa 'an shimaalee, wa min fawqee, wa 'a'oothu bi'adhamatika 'an 'ughtaala min tahtee.
O Allah, I ask You for safety in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah! I ask You for forgiveness, for soundness of my faith, and for security of my worldly affairs, my family and my property. O Allah! Cover up my awraat, and keep me safe from the things I fear. O Allah! Guard me in front and back, right and left, and above; and I seek refuge in Your Greatness from unexpected harm from beneath.”
106. Muslim : 486
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لاَ أُحْصِيْ ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ
Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu biridhaaka min sakhatika, wa bimu'aafaatika min 'uqoobatika wa 'a'oothu bika minka, laa 'uhsee thanaa'an 'alayka 'Anta kamaa 'athnayta 'alaa nafsik.
I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, in Your pardon from Your punishment, and in You from You. Never can my praise of You be as much as Your praise of Yourself.”
109. Musnad Ahmad : 1/391
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ أَوْ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي وَنُورَ صَدْرِي وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي وَذَهَابَ هَمِّيْ
Allaahumma 'innee 'abduka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu 'amatika, naasiyatee biyadika, maadhin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qadhaa'uka, 'as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, 'aw 'anzaltahu fee kitaabika, 'aw 'allamtahu 'ahadan min khalqika, 'awista'tharta bihi fee 'ilmil-ghaybi 'indaka, 'an taj'alal-Qur'aana rabee'a qalbee, wa noora sadree, wa jalaa'a huznee, wa thahaaba hammee.
O Allah, I am Your slave, son of Your bondman and bondwoman. My forehead is in Your Hand. Your command concerning me prevails, and Your judgement of me is just. By each of Your names, with which You have described Yourself, which You have revealed in Your Book, which You may have taught to some of your creatures, or which You have decided to keep unknown, I pray to You to make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my breast, and the remover of my grief and distress.”
112. Abu Dawud : 5090
اَللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو، فَلاَ تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Allaahumma rahmataka 'arjoo falaa takilnee 'ilaa nafsee tarfata 'aynin, wa 'aslih lee sha'nee kullahu, laa'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta.
O Allah, it is Your mercy that I seek. I beg You not to abandon me to myself, even for as short as a wink. I beg You to set right all my affairs. There is no god but You.”
115. Bukhari : 6345
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ.
Laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahul-'Adheemul-Haleem, laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adheem, laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu Rabbus-samaawaati wa Rabbul-'ardhi wa Rabbul-'Arshil-Kareem.
There is no god but Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, and Lord of the Glorious Throne.”
118. Tirmidhi : 3524
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
Ya dhal-jalali wal-ikram, ya- haiyu ya- qaayyumu birahmatika astagithu.
O You Lord of Majesty and Splendor, O You the Living, the Self-subsistent, by Your Grace I seek help.”
121. Abu Dawud : 1525
اَللّٰهُ اَللّٰهُ رَبِّيْ لاَ أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا
Alla-hu, Alla-hu rabbi, laa- ushariku bihi shayan.
Allah, Allah, He is my Lord. I do not associate anyone with Him.”
124. Abu Dawud : 5081
Say 7 times:
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Hasbiyallaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adheem.
Allaah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne.
127. Abu Dawud : 3106
Say 7 times:
أَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ
As'alullaahal-'Adheema Rabbal-'Arshil-'Adheemi 'an yashfiyaka.
I pray to Allah, the Magnificent, Lord of the Glorious Throne, to grant you healing.”
130. Abu Dawud : 3892
Say 3 times:
رَبُّنَا اللهُ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ، تَقَدَّسَ اسْمُكَ أَمْرُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، كَمَا رَحْمَتُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَاجْعَلْ رَحْمَتَكَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، اغْفِرْ لَنَا حُوبَنَا وَخَطَايَانَا، أَنْتَ رَبُّ الطَّيِّبِينَ، أَنْزِلْ رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَشِفَاءً مِنْ شِفَائِكَ عَلَى هَذَا الْوَجَعِ، فَيَبْرَأَ.
Rabbunallahu alladhi fis samaa-i taqaddasasmuka amruka fissama-i wal ardhi kamaa rahmatuka fissmaa-i faj’al rahmataka fil ardhighfir lanaa hubanaa wa khataayaana anta rabbut tayyibiin. Anzil rahmatan min rahmatika wa shifaa-an min shifaa-ika ‘ala hadhal waja-’i fayabra-a.
O our Lord, Allah, You are in Heaven; holy be Your name. Your command reigns supreme in the heavens and on the earth. As Your mercy is in the heavens, have Your mercy on the earth. Forgive our sins. You are the Lord of the good. Send down of Your mercy and healing unto this ailment to cure it.”
133. Bukhari : 5656
لَا بَأْسَ طَهُوْرٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ
Laa ba'sa tahoorun 'inshaa'Allaah.
May your suffering end. May you be purified by Allah's Grace.”
136. Muslim : 2722
اَللّٰهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِى تَقْوَاهَا وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلاَهَا، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لاَ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا.
Allah-humma inni audhubika minal ‘ajzi wal kasali wal jubni wal bukhli wal harami wa ‘adha-bil qabri. Allah-humma a-ti nafsi taqwa-ha- wa zakkiha- anta khairu maang zakka-ha- anta waliyuha- wa mawla-ha-; Allah-humma inni a’ujubika min ‘ilmin la- yanfa’u wa min qbalbin la- yakhsha’u wa min nafsin la- tashba’u wa min da’watin la- yustaja-bu laha-.
O Allah! Grant my soul taqwa, and purify it; You are the best to purify it; You are its best Protector and Guardian. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that is not beneficial, a heart that is not submissive (to You), a soul that is never contented, and a supplication that is not answerable.
139. Tirmidhi : 3521
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ (ﷺ)، وَنَعُوْْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اِسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ (ﷺ) وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ، وَعَلَيْكَ البَلَاغُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ
Allahumma inna nas-aluka min khairi maa sa’alaka minhu nabiyyuka muhammadun (ﷺ) wa na’udhubika min sharri ma ista’adha minhu nabiyyuka muhammadun (ﷺ) wa antal musta’aanu wa ‘alaikal balaagh, wa laa hawla walaa quwwata illa billah.
O Allah, we beg You to grant us good as Your Prophet Muhammad begged of You, and we seek refuge in You from evil as Your Prophet Muhammad sought in You. You are the One whose help is sought, and the One that answers prayers. There is no help or power except from Allah.
142. Bukhari : 3370
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Allahumma salle ‘alaa muhammadinw wa’alaa aali muhammadin kamaa sallaeta ‘alaa ibraaheema wa’alaa aaali ibraaheema innaka hameedum majeed. Allahumma baarik ‘alaa muhammadinw wa’alaa aali muhammadin kamaa baarakta ‘alaa ibraaheema wa’alaa aaali ibraaheema innaka hameedum majeed.
O Allah, send salah upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You have sent salah upon Ibraheem and the family of Ibraheem. You are Praiseworthy and Gloryworthy. O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You have blessed Ibraheem and the family of Ibraheem, in all the worlds. You are Praiseworthy and Gloryworthy.
