1. One should humble oneself before Allah سبحانه و تعالى2. One should make du'a at the times when du'a is best accepted as between the Adzan and the Iqamah, the last third of the night, between the Asr prayer and the Maghrib prayer, the two sermons on Friday, during rain etc.
