924. To seek forgiveness for sins committed knowingly or unknowingly
اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيْئَتِي وَجَهْلِي، وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي هَزْلِي وَجِدِّي وَخَطَايَايَ وَعَمْدِي، وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي
Allaahummaghfir lee khatee a-tee wa jahlee, wa israafee fee amree, wa maa anta a‛lamu bihi minnee, Allaahumma-ghfir lee hazlee wa jiddee wa khataayaaya wa ‛amdee, wa kullu dhaalika ‛indee.
O Allah, forgive my sin, my ignorance, my excessiveness in my affairs, and whatever You are better aware (of my affairs) than myself. O Allah, grant me forgiveness [of the faults which I committed] jestingly or in earnest, and which I committed inadvertently and deliberately; and indeed, all of these [failings] are in me.
