Rifa'ah Az-Zuraqi narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to lead us in prayer. When he raised his head from bowing, he said: "Sami' Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him)." A man behind him said: "Rabbana wa laka al-hamd, hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih (Our Lord, and to You be all praise, much blessed and pure praise)." When he finished, he said: "Who spoke?" The man replied, "I did." He said: "I saw more than thirty angels competing to write it first." (Sahih: Abu Dawud 874)
