Hadith about the Dua
Abu Hurairah narrated that Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said: “O Messenger of Allah, command me with something that I may say in the morning and in the evening.” He said: “Say: ‘O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I testify that there is none worthy of worship except You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil and shirk of Satan.’ Say it in the morning, in the evening, and when you take to your bed.”
