802. Masnoon Dua for Difficulties
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَسُوْءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ
Masnoon Dua for Difficulties English Transliteration
Allaahumma innee ‘a’oodhu bika min jahdil-balaa’i, wa darakish-shaqaa’i, wa soo’il qadhaa’i, wa shamaatatil-‘a’adaa
Masnoon Dua for Difficulties English Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge with Allah from the difficult moment of a calamity and from being overtaken by destruction and from being destined to an evil end, and from the malicious joy of enemies.
Hadith about the Dua
Arabic Text
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو وَيَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ، وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ، وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ، وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ ".
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate: “O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the hardship of calamity, from being overtaken by misery, from a bad fate, and from the gloating of enemies.”
