792. Masnun Dua for Business Success
The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed for Urwa ibn Abil Jaad Bariki (RA) as follows:
اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُ فِي صَفْقَةِ يَمِيْنِهِ
Dua for Business Success English Transliteration
Allaahumma baarik lahu fi safqati yaminihi
Dua for Business Success English Translation
Oh Allah! Put barakah on his trade.
He lived in Kufa; And before returning home, he used to make a profit of forty thousand.

Hadith about the Dua
Arabic Text
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: "إِذَا اشْتَرَى أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ أَخِيهِ صَفْقَةً، فَلْيَقُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُ فِي صَفْقَةِ يَمِينِهِ."
Translation
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When one of you purchases something from his brother, let him say: O Allah, bless him in the transaction of his right hand."
