507. Dua of the Guest for the Host
Once the Prophet (ﷺ) after drinking something in the house of one of the Companions, said -
Dua of the Guest for the Host in Arabic
اَللَّهُمَّ أَطْعِمْ مَنْ أَطْعَمَنِيْ وَاسْقِ مَنْ سَقَانِيْ (وَأَسْقِ مَنْ أَسْقَانِي)
Dua of the Guest for the Host English Transliteration
Allaahumma 'at'im man 'at'amanee wasqi man saqaanee (in another narration: wa asqee man asqaani)
Dua of the Guest for the Host English Translation
O Allah, feed the one who has fed me and drink to the one who has given me drink.
