اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَيَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُسْتَقْدِمِيْنَ مِنَّا وَالْمُسْتَأْخِرِيْنَ وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَلَاحِقُونَ
Dua for entering graveyard English Transliteration
As-salamu 'ala ahlid diya-ri minal mu’minin wal muslimin, wa yarhamullahul mustaq’dimina minna-wal mustakhirin, wa inna- insa allahu bikum lala-’hiqun
Dua for entering graveyard English Translation
Peace be upon the inhabitants of this place among the believers and Muslims. May Allah have mercy upon those who have gone on ahead of us and those who come later on, and we will join you, if Allah wills.
A’isha (RA) asked Allah’s messenger (ﷺ) what she should say, i.e. when visiting graves, and he told her to say (The Dua is mentioned above).
