Hadith about the Dua

Translation

It was narrated from Ali that he used to say after Witr: “O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your pardon from Your punishment. I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot enumerate praise of You; You are as You have praised Yourself. Lord of the angels and the Spirit.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Yeah, it’s Sunnah to say “Subhaan al-Malik al-Quddoos” three times after Witr prayer. The third time, you stretch it out a little at the end. That’s what the Prophet ﷺ did after finishing this salah.
