553. Dua of custody from evil eye and disease
أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَّامَّةٍ
اَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللّٰهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَّهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَّامَّةٍ
A'oodhu bi kalimaat-illaahit-taammati min kulli shaytaanin, wa haammah, wa min kulli 'aynin laammah
I commend you to the protection of Allah’s perfect words from every devil, vermin, and every evil eye.
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain and say: "Your forefather (i.e. Abraham) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Ishmael and Isaac by reciting the following: (the dua is mentioned above) All believing fathers and mothers should recite these verses in the morning and in the evening, blow their children and make dua. Besides, everyone should recite the dua in the morning and evening for their own protection.
554. Custody from evil eye
Surah Falaq
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ﴿١﴾ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿٢﴾ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿٣﴾ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ﴿٤﴾ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿٥﴾
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۙ﴿۱﴾ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۙ﴿۲﴾ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَ ۙ﴿۳﴾ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِ ۙ﴿۴﴾ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿۵﴾
Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem. (1) Qul 'A'oodhu birabbil-falaq. (2) Min sharri maa khalaq. (3) Wa min sharri ghaasiqin 'ithaa waqab. (4) Wa min sharrin-naffaathaati fil-'uqad. (5) Wa min sharri haasidin 'ithaa hasad
(1) Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak (2) From the evil of that which He created (3) And from the evil of darkness when it settles (4) And from the evil of the blowers in knots (5) And from the evil of an envier when he envies." (Sura Falaq: 1-5)
Surah Nas
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ﴿١﴾ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ﴿٢﴾ إِلَـٰهِ النَّاسِ ﴿٣﴾ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ﴿٤﴾ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ﴿٥﴾ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ﴿٦﴾
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۙ﴿۱﴾ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۙ﴿۲﴾ اِلٰهِ النَّاسِ ۙ﴿۳﴾ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ ۬ۙ الْخَنَّاسِ ۪ۙ﴿۴﴾ الَّذِیْ یُوَسْوِسُ فِیْ صُدُوْرِ النَّاسِ ۙ﴿۵﴾ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ٪﴿۶﴾
Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem. (1) Qul 'A'oodhu birabbin-naas. (2) Malikin-naas. (3) 'Ilaahin-naas. (4) Min sharril-waswaasil-khannaas. (5) Allathee yuwaswisu fee sudoorin-naas. (6) Minal-jinnati wan-naas
(1) Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, (2) The Sovereign of mankind. (3) The God of mankind, (4) From the evil of the retreating whisperer - (5) Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - (6) From among the jinn and mankind." (Sura Nas: 1-6)
555. Dua of sickness and evil eye
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيْكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيْكَ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنٍ حَاسِدٍ، اَللَّهُ يَشْفِيكْ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيْكَ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ اَرْقِيْكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُّؤْذِيْكَ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ اَوْ عَيْنٍ حَاسِدٍ، اَللّٰهُ يَشْفِيْكْ، بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ اَرْقِيْكَ
Bismillaahi arqik, min kulli shay’in yu’dhik, min sharri kulli nafsin aw ‘aynin haasidin. Allahu yashfik, bismillaahi arqik
In the Name of Allah I perform Ruqyah for you, from everything that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, may Allah heal you. In the Name of Allah I perform Ruqyah for you.
Abu Sayed Khudri (RA) said, Gabriel (As) came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (he was feverish at that time). Gabriel (As) said, Muhammad, are you sick? He said: Yes. Then he said the above words.
