O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.

Narrated Shaddad bin Aus, The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is (The dua is mentioned above). The Prophet (ﷺ) added. Hadith about the Dua

Translation

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The chief supplication for seeking forgiveness (Sayyidul Istighfar) is for a servant to say: O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I am faithful to Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge before You Your blessings upon me, and I confess my sins to You, so forgive me, for surely none forgives sins except You. Whoever says this during the day with firm faith in it and dies on that day before evening, he will be among the people of Paradise. And whoever says it at night with firm faith in it and dies before morning, he will be among the people of Paradise."
