اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ مُبَارَكًا عَلَيْهِ كَمَا يُحِبُّ رَبُّنَا وَيَرْضَى

Hadith about the Dua
Arabic Text
عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْنَا يَوْمًا وَرَاءَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ قَالَ: " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ "، قَالَ رَجُلٌ وَرَاءَهُ: رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ: " مَنِ الْمُتَكَلِّمُ "؟ قَالَ: أَنَا، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ بِضْعَةً وَثَلاَثِينَ مَلَكًا يَبْتَدِرُونَهَا أَيُّهُمْ يَكْتُبُهَا أَوَّلُ ".
Rifa'ah bin Rafi' Az-Zuraqi reported: We prayed behind the Prophet (ﷺ) one day. When he raised his head from bowing, he said: "Samiʿa Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him)." A man behind him said: "Rabbana wa laka’l-hamd, hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubārakan fīh (Our Lord, to You be praise, much good and blessed praise)." When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished, he said: "Who was the one who spoke just now?" The man replied, "It was I." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I saw over thirty angels competing to record it first."
