Hadith about the Dua

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْيَوْمِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Translation

Abu Huraira reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "By Allah, I seek Allah's forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day."
