800. Dua of the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of the battle of Ahzab

اَللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ اِهْزِمِ الْأَحْزَابَ اَللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ

Allaahumma munzilal-kitaabi, saree'al-hisaabi, ihzimil-'ahzaaba, Allaahummah zimhum wa zalzilhum.

Translation

O Allah, Revealer of the Book, swift in (taking) account, put the tribes to rout. O Lord, defeat them and shake them.

In the battle of Ahzaab, those who fought with The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), they were five kinds: Polytheists of Makkah, Polytheists of various tribes of Arab, Jews who came from outside the madina, Banu Quraiza and the hypocrites. There were ten thousands disbelievers in the front of trench and with the Prophet (ﷺ), there were three thousands Muslims. The disbelievers surrounded Prophet (ﷺ) for 1 month. There was no fighting between them, but there was an incident where a fighting took place Ali ibn Abi Taalib (RA) with Amar ibn Udd Amiri. Ali (RA) killed him. This was the fourth year after Hijrah. In that battle The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) invoked Allah against them - (The dua is mentioned above)
