769. Seeking blessed life and easy death
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray like this:
Seeking blessed life and easy death in Arabic
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِيْشَةً نَقِيَّةً وَمِيْتَةً سَوِيَّةً وَمَرَدًّا غَيْرَ مُخْزٍ وَلَا فَضِحٍ
Seeking blessed life and easy death in Transliteration
Allaahumma inni as'aluka ‘ishatan naqiyyatan, wa mitatan saweyyatan wa maraddan ghaira mukhzin wala fadi'hin
Seeking blessed life and easy death in Translation
O Allah! I ask You for a pure living, an easy death and a return that is not shameful or disgracefull!
