754. Seeking refuge from the heat of hellfire and the punishment of the grave
Narrated from Aisha (RA), she said, The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرَائِيْلَ وَمِيْكَائِيْلَ ورَبَّ إِسْرَافِيلَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Allaahumma rab-ba jibraa’eel wa meekaa’eel, wa rab-ba israafeel, a‛oodhu bika min ‘harrin naar, wa min ‛adhaabil qabr
O Allah, Lord of Gabriel and Michael, and lord of Israfel, I seek refuge in You from the heat of the hell fire, and from the torment of the grave.
