Dua for Greatest Names of Allah English Translation

O Allah, I ask You, by the fact that I bear witness that You are Allah. There is none worthy of worship but You, the Only God, Independent of creation, Who was not begotten and begets not, and none is equal to Him.

Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, You have supplicated Allah using His Greatest Name, when asked with this name He gives, and when supplicated by this name he answers.

Translation

Buraidah narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) heard a man saying: “O Allah, I ask You as I bear witness that You are Allah, there is no deity except You, the One, the Eternal Refuge, Who neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.” He said: “You have asked Allah by His Name which, when He is asked by it, He gives, and when He is called upon by it, He responds.”
