723. Dua for seeking forgiveness
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allaahumma innaka `Afuwwun Karimun, tuhibbul-`afwa fa`fu `anni
O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,] You love pardon, so pardon me.
Aishah (RA) narrated: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), what is your view if I know when the Night of Al-Qadr is, then what should I say in it?” He (ﷺ) said: ‘Say: (The above dua has been mentioned)
