700. Dua for Protection from Allah’s Displeasure
One of the supplications of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was as follows:
Dua for Protection in Arabic
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ
Dua for Protection English Transliteration
Allaahumma inni A‛oodhu bika min zawaali ni'matika, wa tahawwuli 'aafiyatika, wa fuja-aati niqmatika, wa jami'i sakhatik
Dua for Protection English Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the withdrawal of Thine blessing and the change of Thine protection (from me) and from the sudden wrath of Thine, and from every displeasure of Thine.
