325. When entering the market

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَخَيْرِ أَهْلِهَا وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ أَهْلِهَا

Allaahumma inni As'aluka min khayrihaa wa khayri 'ahlihaa wa 'a'oodhu bika min sharrihaa, wa sharri 'ahlihaa

Translation

Ya Allah! I ask you for the blessing of this place and the goodness of it’s inhabitant’s. And I take refuge in you from harm of this place and harm of it’s inhabitant’s.

It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA) that he stood at the entrance of the market, recited the du'a and entered the market.
