Anas bin Malik narrated: The Prophet ﷺ used to often say: “O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.” So I said: “O Messenger of Allah, we believe in you and what you have come with, do you fear for us?” He said: “Yes. Verily, the hearts are between two of the Fingers of Allah. He turns them however He wills.” And in another narration: “O Allah, Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts to Your obedience.”
