أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِيْنَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيْمَ عَمَلِكَ

Hadith about the Dua

Arabic Text

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا وَدَّعَ رَجُلًا قَالَ: "أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكَ، وَأَمَانَتَكَ، وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ".

Translation

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar narrated: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) bid farewell to a man, he would say: “I entrust to Allah your religion, your trust, and the last of your deeds.”
