460. Dua When Someone Says Barakallahu Feekum

Aaishah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was given a sheep and he ordered for its distribution. When the servant would come back [from distributing it], 'Aaishah (RA) asked, "What did they say?", he replied, "They supplicated:

بَارَكَ اللَّهُ فِيكُمْ

Dua When Someone Says Barakallahu Feekum in Transliteration

BaarakAllahu feekum

Dua When Someone Says Barakallahu Feekum in Translation

May Allah bless you all.

Aaishah (RA) then said:

وَفِيهِمْ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ

Wa feehim baarakAllah

Translation

And may Allah bless them.

So we return their supplication in a similar way and our reward will remain with us:

وَفِيكَ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ

Wa feeka baarakAllah

Translation

And May Allah bless you.
