29. Glory be to Allah with praise

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

Laa 'ilaaha 'illAllahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, Allahu 'Akbar kabeeran, walhamdu lillaahi katheeran, SubhaanAllahi Rabbil-'aalameen, laa hawla wa laa quwwata 'illaa biilaahil-'Azeezil-Hakeem

Translation

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without any partener. Allah is most great and much praise is for Allah. How perfect Allah is, Lord of the worlds. There is no might nor power except with Allah, The Exalted in might, The Wise.


He said: Say -

اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي

Allaahummaghfir lee, warhamnee, wahdinee, wa 'aafinee warzuqnee

Translation

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me and grant me sustenance.

A Bedouin came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked, "Teach me a word that I will say." Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, Say: (The dua is mentioned above) Then the Bedouin said, "These are for my Lord; What for me?"
