‘Abdullah bin Sarjis narrated: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) would go out of his house, he would say: "O Allah, I seek refuge with You lest I should stray or be led astray, or slip or be tripped, or oppress or be oppressed, or behave foolishly or be treated foolishly."

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re stepping out of your home in Islam, you use your left foot first. Same goes for leaving a building or when heading into the bathroom. The idea is that your right foot is the last one to leave the house, kind of showing respect for the place you’re leaving. This also applies when you’re taking off your shoes.
