(285) Aamanar-Rasoolu bimaaa unzila ilaihi mir-Rabbihee walmu’minoon; kullun aamana billaahi wa Malaaa’ikathihee wa Kutubhihee wa Rusulihee laa nufarriqu baina ahadim-mir-Rusulih wa qaaloo sami’naa wa ata’naa ghufraanaka Rabbanaa wa ilaikal-maseer. (286) Laa yukalliful-laahu nafsan illaa wus’ahaa; lahaa maa kasabat wa ‘alaihaa maktasabat; Rabbanaa laa tu’aakhiznaaa in naseenaaa aw akhtaanaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tahmil-‘alainaaa isran kamaa hamaltahoo ‘alal-lazeena min qablinaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tuhammilnaa maa laa taaqata lanaa bih; wa’fu ‘annaa waghfir lanaa warhamnaa; Anta mawlaanaa fansurnaa ‘alal qawmil kaafireen. (285) The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination. (286) Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people. (Sura Baqarah 2: 285-286)

(২৮৫) রাসূল তার নিকট তার রবের পক্ষ থেকে নাযিলকৃত বিষয়ের প্রতি ঈমান এনেছে, আর মুমিনগণও। প্রত্যেকে ঈমান এনেছে আল্লাহ্র উপর, তাঁর ফেরেশতাকুল, কিতাবসমূহ ও তাঁর রাসূলগণের উপর, আমরা তাঁর রাসূলগণের কারও মধ্যে তারতম্য করি না। আর তারা বলে, আমরা শুনলাম এবং মানলাম। হে আমাদের রব! আমরা আপনারই ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করি, আর আপনার দিকেই প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল। (২৮৬) আল্লাহ্ কোন ব্যক্তিকে তার সামর্থ্যের বাইরে দায়িত্ব দেন না। সে যা অর্জন করে তা তার জন্যই এবং সে যা কামাই করে তা তার উপরই বর্তাবে। হে আমাদের রব! আমরা যদি ভুলে যাই, অথবা ভুল করি তাহলে আপনি আমাদেরকে পাকড়াও করবেন না। হে আমাদের রব, আমাদের উপর বোঝা চাপিয়ে দেবেন না, যেমন আমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের উপর চাপিয়ে দিয়েছেন। হে আমাদের রব, আপনি আমাদেরকে এমন কিছু বহন করাবেন না, যার সামর্থ্য আমাদের নেই। আর আপনি আমাদেরকে মার্জনা করুন এবং আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন, আর আমাদের উপর দয়া করুন। আপনি আমাদের অভিভাবক। অতএব আপনি কাফির সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করুন। (সূরা বাকারা ২ঃ ২৮৫-২৮৬)

رسول اُس ہدایت پر ایمان لایا ہے جو اس کے رب کی طرف سے اس پر نازل ہوئی ہے اور جو لوگ اِس رسول کے ماننے والے ہیں، انہوں نے بھی اس ہدایت کو دل سے تسلیم کر لیا ہے یہ سب اللہ اور اس کے فرشتوں اوراس کی کتابوں اور اس کے رسولوں کو مانتے ہیں اور ان کا قول یہ ہے کہ: "ہم اللہ کے رسولوں کو ایک دوسرے سے الگ نہیں کرتے، ہم نے حکم سنا اور اطاعت قبول کی مالک! ہم تجھ سے خطا بخشی کے طالب ہیں اور ہمیں تیری ہی طرف پلٹنا ہے"
